The end of term is fast approaching and Christmas is pretty much here. But, what does this mean for students at Somerset College?
Probably spending money on presents for relatives we don't know with money we haven't got!
Or assessments, assignments and placement preparations for the new year.
Or, should I say, the odd glass of wine and a pint at a party or seven! Still the term has whizzed by quicker than I or most people would have thought.
No doubt the last week of term is going to be full of festive fun and frivolities throughout campus and in each individual course.
This week is the Christmas party at Canonsgrove Halls of Residence. The Student Union bar on the Canonsgrove site will be hosting the event with all kinds of festive fun. Please contact the College for further information on this event.
Monday 15 December is the major Student Union Christmas Ball at Que Pasa in Taunton. Tickets are £4 in advance or £5 on the door. A donation from the ticket sales will be going to our chosen national charity the NSPCC. Tickets are available at various student union outlets on campus, at Canonsgrove and also online.
Its gonna be a great night and a perfect way to kick off the last week of term. Further info on this event and all other college events are available on the events page and at the college direct.
So have a fantastic Christmas and a happy new year!
