Shoppers and fashion buffs will get the chance to catch catwalk shows, enjoy the best autumn fashions and view the top end of design as Somerset College and the Orchard Centre, Taunton, present a free full-on day of fashion fun on Saturday 24 September.

The Taunton’s Seasons Fashion Show Autumn 2011 will see three spectacular catwalk shows for all ages in the Orchard Centre;  Quick Fix makeover advice from the College's top grduate Media Make-up lecturer Carolyne Hinds, Taunton hairdressers Toni and Guy and fashion stylist and lecturer Gary Mills; a £250 shopping voucher draw, fun with radio presenters and more.

The fashion event, now in its second year, is a collaboration between Taunton’s Orchard Shopping Centre and the university graduate fashion programme at Somerset College in Taunton. Separate shows will feature the latest retail fashion looks as well as the spectacular designs of graduate Fashion and Textiles students, shown at London’s Brick Lane earlier this year, plus the work of degree course Media Make-up graduates.

Professional models plus a group of well-drilled youngsters from local schools will be striding the catwalk - and entry to all events is free.

The day runs from 11am - 4pm.
