National Apprenticeship Week 2015
National Apprenticeship Week is running 9-13 March 2015 and is an ideal time to discuss Apprenticeship options open to you and your business.
The Apprenticeship scheme provides an opportunity to develop and mould your staff to fit your business requirements which, in turn, helps you develop a motivated, skilled and qualified workforce . In 2014, businesses reported an average increase in productivity by £214 a week when they hired an apprentice, and a further 70% reported that apprenticeships improved their productivity or the quality of their product or service*.
At Somerset College we offer a wide range of apprenticeship programmes across key industry sectors. We work closely with organisations to deliver first-rate vocational training that perfectly complements the skills that apprentices learn on the job. As a result, their training and education is perfectly integrated, meaning they can be relied upon to deliver first-rate service to their employers from day one.
How to start an Apprenticeship
Somerset College has a dedicated apprenticeship team, they will help guide you through the process from accessing available grants and funding through to appointing a suitable candidate.
