Who is this course for?

For those with no previous qualifications or those who completed the 16th Edition prior to 2004, the course provides a refresher on the application of BS7671 Requirements for Electrical Installations.

Description

The course is designed for electricians and those related to the electrical industry to upgrade their skills and knowledge to the current version of BS7671, the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations.  It covers all aspects of BS7671 from requirements of installations to inspection and testing as well as highlighting the changes that have occurred since the previous Regulations.

Teaching and Assessment

The course is classroom-based and culminates in a 60 question multi-choice open-book exam taken online.

Career Opportunities

Progression to the C&G 2392 or C&G 2391 Inspection and Test courses.

Upon receipt, you will either be invited to interview with or contacted by a member of the course team to discuss your application.

 

Candidates will also require a copy of the BS7671:2008  17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (available from all good book stores).
