Who is this course for?

Students will work towards an ESOL qualification.  This one year course will prepare students for employment, help with promotion or lead on to courses of further study.

Description

This basic literacy course is offered FREE to people aged 16 to 19 from the EU or those speakers of other languages who have been living or whose parents have been living in Britain for three years. It covers reading, writing, speaking and listening with functional skills and Maths.

We offer these courses at Entry 1 to Level 2 at flexible times to suit your needs.

We prepare all students for Cambridge Skills for Life Entry 1 to Level 2 and the Cambridge First Certificate Advanced English.

Personal Skills

A commitment to learning and a willingness for home working is required for this course.

Entry Requirements

No entry requirements - entry assessment is by interview.

Costs

Tuition is free, materials cost £20 which include text books, student work books, exam entrance fees and class materials.
