Who is this course for?

This is a course for adults who need to learn English language skills. You will develop skills in speaking and listening, reading and writing English.

There is an opportunity to take the recognised EDEXCEL BTEC ESOL Skills for Life qualification, for which there will be a fee, at the end of summer term.

 

Description

The programme is intended to embed the ESOL language skills needed to develop the knowledge, skills and understanding required in preparation for learning and work. It provides essential learning opportunities to support specific needs and progression routes for ESOL learners. Learners will have an opportunity to attend a tutorial and 100% attendance is expected.

 

Teaching and Assessment

These include portfolio building for NOCN and an end exam for the EDEXCEL BTEC qualification.

Career Opportunities

This course will improve your chances of employment or career progression.

Entry Requirements

No entry requirements - entry assessment is by interview.

Costs

Free tuition for students who meet the entitlement criteria. Entitlement criteria and costs will be explained at interview. A fee of £25 is required at enrolment.
