Description

This course covers how the human body works, the structures that make it work and how to keep the body healthy.  Key aspects include nutrition, blood and circulation, defence against diseases and 21st century health.

The course can lead to further study and is particularly useful for students interested in Human Health and employment in the caring professions.

It is intended for those who wish to improve their GCSE grade to C or above in order to enhance their career prospects or enter a course in higher education.  This subject is essential for many professional and degree level courses, including teacher training.

Entry Requirements

No formal qualifications are required but you need to have a keen interest in the biological sciences and the motivation to succeed
