This course is for any individual wishing to follow the first year equivalent of a degree level course in the area of Business and Management in order to improve their employment prospects and qualifications. It would suit those already employed in a variety of organisations or those wishing to gain employment.
This comprehensive university level course covers all aspects of business. Commercial expertise is essential for successful business enterprise ranging from finance and accounting to marketing and human resource management and this course will prepare you well for your developing business career. Core modules cover: the business environment; individuals and organisations; law; business functions; systems; accounting; the principles of marketing; and personal development.
Students are required to complete a project on a work experience opportunity. This could be related to their existing workplace
This course can lead to a Foundation Degree in Business with Management and then onto a BA (Hons) Degree.
Continuous assessment through a schedule of assignments.
