Who is this course for?

the course is designed to support the automotive industry by providing highly-skilled automotive technicial engineers. It will be perfect for you if you have always loved cars and are interested in the principles of engineering.

The programme has been devised in conjunction with the University of Plymouth to provide current and aspiring managers in the retail and repair industry with the knowledge that is essential for the modern motor vehicle industry.

Description

The course concentrates on the latest technology and repair techniques that are found on the cars of today and also on the very best in management practices employed in both the motor vehicle and world class organisations.  The focus of this course is on prctical skills and throughout the programme you will use a wide range of tools, techniques, equipment and software, as well as laboratory and workshop equipment.

This course can take you into a number of different careers including the retail and repair sector of the motor manufacturing industry.

Teaching and Assessment

This course is classroom based with projects and case studies. Assessment is mainly by assignment work and some internal tests.
