Who is this course for?
If you have a keen eye for photography and would love to develop your skills then this is the course for you!
This is a University of the Arts London course. On successful completion of the course, students will receive a qualification from the University.
In order to achieve the Award in photography, students will need to complete a mandatory unit plus an additional optional unit.

- Lighting in Photography
- Digital Imaging and Printing
- Process Film and Print
This programme is made up of two units, in the first you will learn about your digital camera and explore the menus. There will be tasks that will utilise what you have learnt and look at composition, lighting and making adjustments to your images using software. You will also look at the history of Photography which will include you researching a photographer of your choice.
The second unit will look at film and darkroom process. This will also include you making your own pinhole camera. Throughout the two units you will be asked to complete projects in your own time to complement the college learning.
