Who is this course for?

This course is for people with some management experience at strategic level who are looking to gain promotion or improve their management skills and knowledge.

Description

These level 7 Award is aimed at people who are working in or aspire to work in strategic management. They are designed to be work related and to develop a specific set of practical skills and associated knowledge. The course is suitable for managers who are expected to make or contribute to strategic decisions within their organisations.

The Award level can be studied in 3-6 months before moving to the Certificate level.  This would involve studying for at least 15 hours per week.

Teaching and Assessment

Through work-based assignments and demonstration of areas of personal competence such as: acting assertively and strategically; behaving ethically; building teams; communicating; focusing on results; influencing others; managing self; searching for information and making decisions.

Career & Progression Opportunities

Upon successful completion of the Award you can progress to a Masters Degree such as an MBA or other higher level business qualification.

Entry Requirements

Ideally a related level 5 qualification or currently in a middle management position with relevant experience.
