In the workplace via onsite assessment and training (OSAT)
Upon certification, candidates will be eligible for their CSCS card.
Candidates will also need to pass the CSCS Operatives Health and Safety test.
Units include:
• Conform to general workplace safety
• Confirm to efficient work practices
• Move and handle resources
• Erect and dismantle access/working platforms
• Prepare surfaces for painting/decorating
• Apply coatings by the airless spray method
• Apply coatings by the air spray method
• Operate equipment in support of the air sprayer
• Operate equipment in support of the abrasive blast cleaner
Candidates will need to compile a portfolio of evidence, they may also be assessed through observations, photographic evidence or question papers.
