Aimed at those already working within the motor vehicle industry, ideally as a heavy vehicle technician.
Candidates need to complete a total of 8 units 7 mandatory and 1 optional.
Mandatory Units:
• Contribute to workplace good housekeeping
• Ensure your own actions reduce risks to health and safety
• Maintain positive working relationships
• Carry out routine vehicle maintenance
• Remove and replace engine units and components
• Remove and replace electrical auxilliary units and components
• Remove and replace vehicle chassis units and components
Optional Units:
• Conduct pre and post work vehicle inspections
• Valet Vehicles
• Remove and replace vehicle transmission and driveline units and components.
Through the production of a portfolio of evidence demonstrating understanding and application of the qualification standards
