Who is this course for?

In the workplace via onsite assessment and training (OSAT)

Upon certification, candidates will be eligible for their CSCS card.

Candidates will also need to pass the CSCS Operatives Health and Safety test

Description

Units include:

• Conform to general workplace safety
• Conform to work activities and resource for the work
• Develop and maintain good working relationships
• Confirm the occupational method of work
• Erect and dismantle access.working platforms
• Prepare surfaces for painting/decorating
• Apply paint systems by brush and roller
• Apply coatings by airless spray method
• Prepare surfaces by abrasive blast cleaning
• Apply coatings by the air spray method

Teaching and Assessment

Candidates will need to compile a portfolio of evidence, they may also be assessed through observations, photographic evidence or question papers.

Entry Requirements

Candidates should ideally be qualified to level 2 standard.
