Week 1 - Work faster and more efficiently
- Preferences, settings and shortcuts - you'll be shown how you can edit photos more quickly by using shortcuts and little known display options, configuring your brush-based tools, and setting up your programme to suit you
Week 2 - Choosing the best tool for the job
- Key photo editing tools compared - what’s the best way to correct perspective distortion? Levels better for fixing exposure problems than curves? You'll be shown which tools are best for key photo-editing jobs.
Week 3 - Selections, masks and layers
- Selections and masks are the key to localised editing and compositing. We'll show you how to tackle tricky selection jobs, fine-tune your masks, and get more from using layers.
Week 4 - Creating selections from paths
- Pen Tool and paths can be rather daunting, but eventually you'll encounter an object you just can't select with any tool. You'll be shown how to master creating and using paths.
Week 5 - Tools for retouching and repair
- Get more from the retouching and sharpening tools you use and discover hidden objects and customising settings.
Week 6 - Open workshop
- Professional advice on your own work; using a combination of the previous week's tuition a last minute chance to seek advice with regard to your own work/imaged/ambitions.
