If you are an adult learner looking for a change of career, want to develop your career further, or are looking to start a Degree level programme, then our Open Evening is the perfect opportunity to find out how!

With Land-based courses ranging from Agriculture to Fisheries, Food Technology to Animal Management, this event may give you the inspiration you have been searching for in your next step.

Our team of highly experienced staff will be on hand to answer any questions. Facilities will be fully open for you to have a look around and enjoy.

Head to our Animal Management Centre to visit all the animals we care for and learn from. With our tutors on hand, you may even have the opportunity to get up close and personal with some animals, from fluffy rabbits to more scaly reptiles.

Our Agricultural Innovation Centre, situated on our farm, will be open for you to see the facilities students are using to learn new innovative techniques. You can also visit our working dairy farm, Rodway Farm, and meet our resident cows.

Take some time to visit The Walled Gardens of Cannington. At this beautiful facility you can not only to learn about the flowers, but also to explore our new aquaponics centre where innovative techniques are being used to grow the food of the future.

There will be generic information about the University Centre Somerset available on the day, including talks from Jason Gunningham, Head of Land-based Studies here at University Centre Somerset.

Come along on the day, or simply complete the brief online registration form to be fast-tracked upon arrival.
