College to host ethical fashion conference
Somerset College in Taunton is helping to host a national fashion conference looking at the ethical aspects of fashion.
The Conference, Fashion Transitions - Ethical Fashion Insights, is being run by the Centre for Contemporary Art and the Natural World (CCANW), and is being held at the College’s Conference Centre on Thursday November 4, from 10am - 4pm.
“We are delighted to help host this prestigious conference at the College,” said Imelda Hughes, Head of Textiles, Fashion and Design at Somerset College.
Speakers include Otto von Busch, of Göteborg University, Sweden, Alastair Fuad-Luke, winner of the publishing category European Environmental Design Awards for The Eco-design Handbook, Lee Holdstock, Trade Relations Manager from the Soil Association, and more.
