College Tutor Delivers Lecture at Royal College of Art

Neil Musson, Lecturer in Fashion Textiles at Somerset College will be delivering a lecture at the Royal College of Art on 17th March.

The lecture is called 'Light, Energy and Public Reactions' and is open to all students on the Royal College’s  MA textile courses.  It will be followed by group discussion to help students understand more about the use of lighting in textiles and surface design in architecture.  It will also address designers whose work is between the worlds of design and fine art and ask how important branding is in self promotion.  The other part of the title ‘public reaction’ looks at how people view art and design and to what extent we can change public perceptions of the man made environment.
