Top marks for College

Somerset College has been awarded the prestigious Matrix Standard in two key areas for its work with students and the public, as well as businesses and employees.

The Taunton based College was awarded the Matrix Standard for the first time for the Business Centre team, and won reaccreditation for its Student One Stop information centre.

The Matrix Standard is the national quality standard for any organisation that delivers information, advice and/or guidance on learning and work.

The Student One Stop serves students and members of the wider community, while the Business Centre team helps businesses and employees who access College courses.

 “Somerset College has a vast range of students from 14 year olds in school-linked courses to others studying University programmes. We provide excellent services to these students as well as those who come from local and national businesses.”
