The Quantock Restaurant and Conservatory offers a wide range of freshly prepared European cuisine in a relaxing atmosphere catering for the general public. It's the perfect venue for a business lunch, friendly coffee, special dinner or your own private function.
Students working towards Hospitality and Catering qualifications provide excellent service and students behind the scenes prepare mouth watering dishes.
We promote local suppliers and the finest organic produce. Our menu has been developed to suit all tastes and changes every three to four weeks to make the most of seasonal flavours.
We have a loyal customer base that enjoys sampling the creations of our budding new chefs and you would be most welcome. Please contact reservations below to book your table.

Please call reservations on 01823 366 497 or email rto@somerset.ac.uk with your requirements or enquiry. Once we have your email, your booking will be confirmed. If you do not receive a confirmation email please telephone us to check.

Lunch - Thursday to Friday 12.30am - 1.30pm
Dinner - Thursday evening 6.00pm - 7.00pm

Private functions and hospitality - by arrangement
The speciality Coffee Shop
Our speciality coffee shop is open Wednesday to Friday during term-time from 10.30am -11.30am offering a selection of delicious homemade cakes and pastries as well as a range of speciality coffees in a relaxing atmosphere.
Lunchtime and evening menus
At lunch and dinner we offer an exciting 'a la Carte' menu alongside a 3 course 'Table D'hote' menu for £7.95. Menus to be confirmed shortly.
Private Functions & Hospitality
We are delighted to regularly cater for individual private functions or a variety of hospitality events for a minimum of 35 and a maximum of 60 people. As well as a relaxed and airy setting, the Quantock Restaurant also provides conference facilities and presentations can easily be displayed on the plasma TV connected via a laptop.
