Access

Somerset College offers a number of Access to Higher Education courses, that are ideal preparation for university, especially if you haven't been in education for a while. 

The pathways that we offer are (click on the title for further details):

• Access to Higher Education Diploma: Arts and Design
• Access to Higher Education Diploma: Health Studies
• Access to Higher Education Diploma: Nursing
• Access to Higher Education Diploma: Science and Science Professions
• Access to Higher Education Diploma: Social Science and Social Work
• Access to Higher Education Diploma: Teaching, Journalism and Humanities

These courses run on Tuesdays and Thursdays, a total of 12.5 hours per week. 

Students who are claiming JSA or ESA should always check with their JCP advisor to ensure they are able to undertake a college programme before enrolling.
