Student Liaison Officers (SLOs)
The student voice is very important and valued at Somerset College and the SLOs are here to help get your opinions heard. The SLOs also oversee the FE & HE Common room areas and welcome opinions on how these areas can be improved.
The FE Common Room has a pool table; Nintendo Wii, and large comfy sofas where students can relax between lessons, at lunch and breaktimes.
The HE Common Room has recently been upgraded and now includes: a plasma screen, DVD/VHS player; stereo system, two new flat screen computers; comfy sofa?s and a cafe area.
You can also get involved with the Student Union or become a course representative helping to feedback the views of the rest of your class at College Council meetings. If you wish to speak to the SLOs they can be contacted at:
