Granted Team With Award

KEG Members Granted Win Award

Granted are thrilled to have won the prestigious Devon Environmental Business Initiative (DEBI) Award 2011.

The award was announced at the ceremony on Thursday 23rd November, held at the Met Office in Exeter. Dick Strawbridge the television presenter and eco-engineer presented the award to the team. Granted entered under the category of Environmental Goods and Services - Small Business. The judges from DEBI visited Granted in October, visiting their Bicton EaRTH project, grilling the team and scrutinising the facts and figures on their application. All this hard work paid off, as they are delighted to have been among the winners that also included Ashwoods Automotive, Darts Farm and Wheatland Eco Lodges.

This is the first award Granted have entered, so to have been shortlisted, let alone win such a prestigious award, when the competition in their category included well known Westcountry businesses such as Nutshell Natural Paints Ltd, Windrush Willow and Chunky Monkey was a real boost. Granted have been a safe pair of hands to their many clients, who are encountering the new world of renewables, since the company was established by the two directors Alex Chalkley and Jonathan Davis in 2009.

Granted were award winners because of the high quality advice, drive and delivery that is essential in all elements of their working practice and the business was commended for 'providing the South West with renewable engineers for the future'.
