it is produced is becoming ever more complex and with it comes industry demand
for qualified recruits. Agriculture and the associated industries are big
businesses in the UK and abroad and once studied can be your passport into
employment or further enrichment overseas.

Managing the livestock alongside full-time study is not easy, but despite the challenges, I have managed to achieve a first in every assignment to date and been shortlisted for a British Farming Award.
Successful completion of the Foundation Degree will provide you with the opportunity to progress and top-up your qualification to a BSc (Hons) Degree. University Centre Somerset offers a University of Plymouth qualification; BSc (Hons) Agricultural Management Top-up.
Please note that there is a deadline for progression applications and places may be subject to availability.
This course will prepare you well for employment in the industry in positions such as farm manager, rural surveyor, unit manager, farm contractor or senior herdsperson.
Typically entrants will possess: A minimum of 48 UCAS tariff points from a full Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject area. At least four GCSEs at grades 4 and above including English and maths, or Level 2 equivalent. Mature applicants with relevant experience who do not have the stated entry requirements are encouraged to apply.
The course fee is £8500.00* per year of study.
