Construction Management for England HNC - Level 4

Course Overview

This is a nationally recognized professional qualification that enhances workplace skills and prepares students for a career in the construction industry. It can be studied part-time or as part of an Apprenticeship. The course, which is a recognized Higher Technical Qualification (HTQ), consists of eight units covering key knowledge and practical skills. The course starts in January 2026.

Assessment is a mix of assignments, presentations, and project work for each of the eight units.

Entry Requirements and Progression

Progression

Upon successful completion, students have a wide range of career choices, including site manager, quantity surveyor, or civil engineering technician. They could also continue their studies at the HND or degree level.

Entry Requirements

Typically, entrants should have at least one of the following: a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject or GCSEs at grade 4 and above, including English and maths.

Fees

The course fee is £3900.00* per year of study.
