We're committed to making our Makeup Artistry, Prosthetic FX and Wig Making course accessible to all talented students. We understand that specialist equipment costs can be a barrier to entry.

Good news for first-year students: UCS will cover 50% of your essential makeup kit costs (normally around £950). The remaining balance can be paid in three manageable instalments, timed to coincide with your student finance payments.

As you progress through the course and develop your specialist interests, you'll need to budget for additional materials specific to your chosen areas. Costs vary depending on your specialism, typically ranging from £100-£1500 in subsequent years.

Our course team regularly reviews and updates required materials lists to ensure you're investing in the most relevant tools for your education and future career.
