Psychology of Human Behaviour BSc (Hons) Top-up - Level 6

Course Overview

This BSc (Hons) Degree top-up is for students who have completed a Psychology Foundation Degree or equivalent Level 5 qualification and wish to continue their studies to gain a full Level 6 Honours Degree.

Modules may include:

  • The Mind-Body Connection
  • Organisational Psychology and Coaching
  • Language Acquisition
  • Psychology of Education
  • Dissertation.

Modules may occasionally be subject to change as part of the UCS curriculum enrichment programme or in line with alterations to policy at the University of Plymouth. Applicants will be advised of all intended alterations.

Assessment

Assessment Methods

You will be assessed through coursework, including a dissertation and presentations. There are no formal examinations.

Entry Requirements and Progression

Progression

Students can progress to a Masters level qualification in order to continue progession for a career in applied Psychology. The range of skills that students learn on the degree also allows progession into a variety of jobs, such as health and social care roles.

Entry Requirements

Typically entrants will possess:

  • Level 5 qualification in Psychology. This is a recognised direct progression route for students who have successfully completed the Foundation Degree in Psychology at Strode College.
  • Entry to the programme is also open to those who have achieved similar Level 5 qualifications at another institution.
