Early Childhood Studies degree student has research paper published

Donna Holden, a third year Early Childhood Studies degree student at UCS has had a research paper published by the Early Childhood Studies Degree Network (ECSDN).

Donna wrote this project as part of her second-year module ‘Introduction to Research’ in the workplace. Louise Hannan, Course Leader, supported Donna’s application to the network for publication.

The ECSDN campaigns for a high-status Early Childhood Graduate Profession. It is influential in HE education research, policy and practice related to Early Childhood. University Centre Somerset is a member of the ECSDN and they are leading on the development of the Graduate Practitioner Competencies that UCS is looking to include in its revalidated degree programmes.
