The annual Team BTC Sports Awards were held virtually this year to recognise the sporting talents of UCS and BTC.
The first ever UCS Player of the Year award was given to Niall Carr. Niall was made captain during UCS Football’s first ever season. Since then, he has led the team by example, putting in some fine performances and finishing as top goal scorer. Niall was instrumental off the pitch as well as on, by supporting his fellow teammates and ensuring it was a fantastic first season for UCS football.
The UCS Coaches' Player award went to Charlie Green, who is a popular member of the UCS football squad and has been described as a ‘coach’s dream’. Specialising in set pieces and master of left footed skills, Charlie really deserved this award.
Finally, Tom Creed picked up the Player’s Player award for his strong team player attitude and dedication to the squad.
