I chose UCS because I didn’t want to move away from home to study, but still wanted to gain a higher education qualification. I like the fact that I can work on the family dairy farm while completing my degree, because contact time is focused on two days per week.
Successful completion of the Degree will provide you with the opportunity to progress to employment or further study in an agriculture/food related subject. This course will prepare you well for employment in the industry in positions such as a farm manager, rural surveyor, unit manager, farm contractor, senior herdsman or working within the management team of associated food industries.
Typically entrants will possess: A Foundation Degree in Agricultural Management, an HND or an equivalent Level 5 qualification in an appropriate discipline. At least four GCSEs at grade 4 and above including English and maths, or Level 2 equivalent.
The course fee is £8500.00* per year of study.
For more information regarding course fees, please read our 'Fees and Funding' page.
*Fees are subject to review annually. The fees for existing students may be increased annually in line with the Retail Price Index.
