You need to be employed to start an Apprenticeship. Please visit our vacancy page or if you have an employer, please ensure you add full contact details of your employer within your application. If you are unable to secure employment, you could enrol on a full-time study programme and transfer to an Apprenticeship at a later date. Please apply for a full-time course as your second option.

This is a higher level apprenticeship with a HNC as mandatory element. Will work on projects and developing workplace activities on site whilst doing the HNC one day a week for 2 years. Three pathways include Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing.

Assessment Methods

Assignment based with independent work and research required for the HNC. Apprenticeship requires a portfolio of evidence (produced in the work place) an observation and professional discussion.

Progression Options

After successful completion of this course, learners could progress onto a higher level qualification or progress within employment.

Entry Requirements

Will need a suitable role in the workplace and a good level of academic ability. Ideally will have completed a Level 3 course, but this can be discussed.

Minimum requirements are GCSE Grade 4 and above in English, maths, and a scientific subject.
