While much of the focus on Results Day today is on young people moving on from college or sixth form to university, there are thousands of adult learners across the country who have also received Level 3 results today.
We’d like to congratulate Sarah Hargreaves on achieving a DISTINCTION in her Foundation Diploma in Art & Design (FAD) at our Taunton campus. Sarah says;
“As a child and young adult, I always wanted to study art. Other things happened though and after a varied career in teaching and then social work, I finally decided that life was too short to not chase your dreams and applied for this course at the Taunton campus.
To be honest, I really didn’t think I would secure a place, and almost did not apply. When I did, and was accepted, I was excited but also very anxious. My fears were, as it turned out, unfounded.
This year has made a huge difference to my life and I have learnt so much in what feels like a very short space of time, surrounded by supportive tutors and fellow students.”
