This course is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to work as a professional makeup artist in the film, television and theatre industries. You will learn about all aspects of makeup artistry, from basic beauty makeup to complex prosthetic effects and wig making.

Progression Options

On successful completion of this course, you will be able to progress to the BA (Hons) Makeup Artistry, Prosthetic FX and Wig Making (Top-up) degree. You could also progress to a career as a freelance makeup artist, or work for a major film, television or theatre production company.

Entry Requirements

Typically, entrants will possess a minimum of 64 UCAS points from a full Level 3 qualification in a related area, and at least four GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English and maths.
